Jazz up your green beans with pineapple in this delicious the FODMAP Free treat!
Ingredients
  • 1½ cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup green beans, cleaned, cut 1 inch on bias
  • ½ tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon chives, finely diced
  • ½ tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 2 quarts water
Instructions
  1. Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil and add ½ tablespoon kosher salt.
  2. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
  3. Remove the beans from the pot using a strainer.
  4. Place olive oil in a sauté pan on medium heat, add the chives and cook until tender.
  5. Add the pineapple and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the beans and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Serve warm.
