Little Joy for FODMAP Free Fast Food

For FODMAP Free dieters, eating out is a problem no matter where you go.  Fast Food chains are particularly difficult since most products contain gluten, lactose, apple, or onion.   The potatoes are generally safe — French fries or baked potatoes, but stay away from the sour cream.  Some of the grilled chicken offerings are safe, but ask what is in the seasoning before you order and bring your own bread.  As far as I know, none of the salad dressing are on the FODMAP free diet, but some may be safe for Low FODMAP.

 

If you’re going to eat out on the FODMAP free diet, treat yourself to something more nutritious  and satisfying … unless, like me, you need that French Fry fix every once in a while! :-)
